Snowsled

A Snowsled design, this simple and lightweight compass holder allows a skier or orienteer to travel and navigate without the need to use their hands to hold the compass.
The compass is supported in front of the chest where it can be easily read and adjusted on the move. The supporting neck cord and waist strap are both adjustable, and the unit is supplied in its own bag.
The total weight in its bag is only 55 grms. Designed for compass baseplate width 55mm - 60mm and 4 mm thick. Please advise if different.

No metal components.

By using an additional supporting plate, a small gimballed marine compass can also be accommodated as shown below.

           Total weight with baseplate 190 grms.                       Total weight with gimballed unit 280 grms.

Baseplate and Gimballed compass can also be supplied with the compass holder.
