Pulks

Snowsled pulks have been developed and manufactured for over 17 years. The current designs reflect significant contributions from the combined experience of many expeditions and polar travellers during this time, and the results are very high quality products rightly judged by fitness for purpose. We manufacture a range of three laminate and one plastic type of pulk.

  • Resin transfer moulding process for strong laminates.
  • Shallow ‘attack‘ angle.
  • UHMW PE machined runners fixed in grooves in the keels for high sideways impact protection.
  • Replacable runner soles.
  • ‘Rocker‘ keels with runners widely spaced for greatest stability.
  • 6 lifting handles bolted around top edge.
  • Waterproof cover with adjustable straps.
